Acacia Bronze Cascade |
Acacia Bronze Cascade is a selected dwarf form of Acacia cognata and is bred by Peter Goldup. It is a hardy low maintenance compact shrub, with attractive bronze tip foliage through winter, and a sprinkle of pale yellow dainty wattle ball flowers which appear from early to mid spring; it is compact small to medium shrub. This small shrub grows from a height of 1m and has a spread of 1- 1.5m, making it excellent to use as a garden border, rockery plant, and specimen plant, or as low level planting which is ideal for any landscape. This small shrub has the adaptability to cope with dry conditions and light frosts. Acacia Bronze Cascade is new to the plant market, and this plant’s advantage over other varieties is its dense compact habit and contrasting bronze tipped foliage. The following list of other dwarf forms of Acacia cognata’s in the market include: Acacia Bower Beauty, Acacia Dazzler, Acacia Green Mist, Acacia Limelight, Acacia Mop Top, and Acacia Waterfall. The various forms of Acacia cognata listed can be mixed planted to create colour and subtle textural variations in commercial landscapes and home gardens. |
