Acacia Crimson Blush |
Acacia Crimson Blush is a selected dwarf form of Acacia fimbriata and is bred by Ian Shimmen of Bushland Flora. It is a hardy low maintenance shrub with attractive foliage of crimson tipped new growth; it is compact and smaller in habit than other varieties. Once mature displays a light sprinkle of lemon coloured soft ball flowers in late winter to early spring. This small shrub grows to a height of 1-1.5m and has a spread of 1.5m making it excellent to use as a garden border, rockery plant, and specimen plant or as low level planting which is ideal for any landscape. This small shrub has the adaptability to cope with dry conditions and light frosts. Acacia Crimson Blush is new to the plant market, and this plant’s advantage over other varieties is its dense compact habit. Acacia Crimson Blush can be mixed planted to create textural variations within the landscape. |
